Polyanionic Cellulose PAC DHV

Polyanionic Cellulose, shortly PAC are used in oil drilling fluids and completion fluids. In drilling fluids, it works as viscosifier, flowing controller and filtration reducer, with strong suspending capability, high ability of carrying crumbs, and the function of cleaning drilling crumbs, stabilizing of well wall, preventing the mud from flowing away, protecting drilling bit and reducing the thickness of mud cake, but while in the completion fluids, it functions to control the fluid viscosity, suspend the heavy objects, bring the filler and avoid the fluids loss. It also can replace guar gum in fracturing fluids.

PAC DHV is a kind of high-viscosity polyanionic cellulose (PAC) with excellent dispersibility and quick-dissolving ability in water. Unlike the conventional PAC, it can be poured quickly into the water and requires only short and slight agitation of the slurry at low rpm for complete dissolution, without the formation of lumps or fish-eyes.

PAC DHV has good viscosifying and fluid loss controlling properties and is an effective fluid loss controller and viscosifier for the drilling mud.

In the production of PAC DHV , same chemical reactions take place and same chemicals are used as the conventional PAC. So it is friendly to the environment and human-being health.
